This mission of OCAB Community Action Agency, Inc. is to eliminate the causes and conditions of poverty in the service area by developing strategies to ensure a better quality of life for disadvantaged and underserved residents.

OCAB develops and focuses resources to:

• Attack the causes of poverty by helping low income families and individuals acquire the skills, knowledge and opportunities needed to become self-sufficient;
• Alleviate the conditions of poverty  by helping people meet basic and emergency needs;
• Foster social and economic development in Orangeburg, Calhoun, Allendale and Bamberg Counties
